Comfortable and affordable stay by the river. The room had rustic furniture, which added to the hotel's charm. The location was quiet yet close to attractions. The basic breakfast was satisfactory. Despite being on the 4th floor, street noise was not disruptive. Close to River City mall and great eateries near the State Tower. a fantastic choice for a quick visit to Bangkok. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and convenience.

Very nice hotel, kind staff, large and clean rooms, quite central near to the piers and next to Sheraton, neeed I say more.. Try the BBQ restaurant on the 5th floor of riverside building or for the more daring people at on the street at Kob's kitchen for a small budget.
The shower is either too cold or too hot, haven't figured a way out of mixing the two

Staff very pleasant and obliging. Room was good value for money - large, clean, good cupboard space, quiet, good a/c, wifi & TV facilities. Modern and clean bathroom. Hotel located near the river next to Royal Orchid Sheraton - quiet spot and very convenient to river ferries and other transport

Very nice people, we stayed in the thai typical bungalows behind the Residence, it feels like you are out of the noisy center but still you are right in the center close to everything. Good spot to sleep to visit the ruins and temples. Internet is for free, breakfast is good.

Perfect location for visiting the most important sights of Bangkok. Very near to boat station. (3 minutes) And there is a nice massage salon just around the corner offering good and cheap service. We have not had breakfast, but there is possibility for extra payment. The staff was very kind and smiley. The hotel is walking distnce for backpackers from the skytrain station.

This hotel is a great find for budget travelers. The prices are affordable and offer incredible value for money. The location is perfect, tucked away on a quiet back street by the river. It's an ideal spot for those who want to enjoy the serene atmosphere while still having plenty of dining options nearby. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing helpful information about the area. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with all the essential features needed for a comfortable stay. The en suite bathrooms are clean and exactly as seen in the pictures provided on the internet. Plus, some rooms offer a lovely view from the accommodation. Lastly, although the breakfast options are limited, they are tasty and serve as a good start to the day.
Nothing to fault.

Really enjoyed my weekend stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with quick access to public transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the lobby.
The noisy air conditioning in the room. It was a bit hard to sleep at night with the constant hum and occasional rattling.

The hotel is conveniently located near the pier for cheap scenic boat rides to tourist destinations, including Wat Pho. The room was clean and spacious, with ample space for belongings and a safety box. The staff was helpful and informative. Facilities such as an elevator and daily free bottles of water were available.
Some taxi drivers in the area were aggressive and unfriendly.

Unfortunately a bad experience not only for the hotel but the trip itself.
Specially the staff did not care at all about the clients (they are more worried about the money), no facilities at all, in room thelephone not working, no food available, no help for emergency situations (hospital and pharmacy), not a safe neighbourhood as we have been robbed 3 blocks away. The pictures shown in the websites does not match with the real scene.

Very friendly staff and good localization (just 100m. from Si Phraya pier - you can travel by water tram (Chao Phraya Express) + close to express road + 10 minutes walking to subway station + a lot of taxis near to hotel) - these are most important pros. A plus is also free Internet in the whole hotel. Although there is no parking - usually you can park in front of hotel or in the neighbourhood. Rooms and bathrooms are quite clean in general - except walls and furniture - renovation needed! Efficient air condition (but noisy).
Unfortunately there are many cons - however some of them may be not so important for budget travelers - and for them this hotel is rather good choice I believe. I'll start from most to least important: 1) furniture & rooms equipment are quite old - and they stink (mustiness). 2) walls are dirty - renovation needed urgently! 3) we had a picture on the wall - frame of the picture probably with some occupants - hearing when they were eating the wood was very annoying. 4) air condition was very noisy - even in "sleep" mode 5) breakfast very late - placing of order was possible earliest at 8:30 - breakfast was ready earliest at 9:00. 6) We had to buy shampoo and shower gel - only tiny bottle of shampoo was in the bathroom 7) very slow elevator
